Tip 1: Use Comet Igniter to inflict unexpected damage on enemies
This is a very interesting grenade. After you throw it, it travels through the air towards the ground upon reaching the enemy’s head and explodes upon impact, causing considerable damage.
Its advantage is that, unlike other grenades, it doesn’t require precise control of distance and altitude. You just need to ensure it reaches above your enemy, and it will ricochet downwards, making it perfect for causing unexpected trouble.
You can obtain this grenade from Comet enemies. Using this ARC Raiders item properly will be a great help.
Tip 2: Barricade Kit isn’t just for protecting yourself
Barricade Kit can be used to avoid damage
Barricade Kit provides incredible protection. Simply hide behind a protective cover to block any enemy attack.
It’s very simple, and it provides excellent protection against large-area explosions or attacks where cover is hard to find.
Barricade Kit as a Stepping Stone
While you may have been impressed by the first use of Barricade Kit, its second use will certainly not disappoint.
Perhaps you’ve experienced the helplessness of facing Loot Rooms that require at least two players to enter alone. But if you learn to use Barricade Kit, many inaccessible areas in ARC Raiders will no longer be a challenge.
The correct use of Barricade Kit isn’t just to block enemy attacks; you can also climb the protective cover it creates, standing on top to easily access interactive objects or doors that require puzzles. No help from others is needed, and no repairs are required.

Powered Descender is undoubtedly one of the most important items in ARC Raiders after Riven Tides update. IGGM recommends bringing it when fighting ARC enemies.
You might find those large, flying ARC enemies troublesome; they frequently take to the air during combat, causing significant fall damage. Powered Descender allows you to land easily in such situations.
Therefore, if your main goal in a raid is to defeat those large, flying ARC enemies, Powered Descender will be an indispensable item.
Common Misconceptions about using Crash Mats
Throwing Crash Mat and then jumping and landing on it is how many players use it. However, this makes it difficult to guarantee accuracy in situations with significant drops, easily leading to mistakes and serious damage.
Therefore, the correct way to use it is to jump out before using Crash Mat, and then, just before landing, take out Crash Mat and throw it onto the ground as a cushion for the fall. This method of placing Crash Mat in mid-air effectively reduces fall damage and prevents accidents.

Synergy between Powered Descender and Crash Mat
These two items were added to the game in Riven Tides update, but recently, players have discovered their amazing synergy when used together. You can combine them to jump from very tall buildings or terrain without taking any damage.
For example, Launch Tower Building on Spaceport, which is probably the biggest drop in the game so far, allows you to jump from such a very tall building.
What you need to do is first throw Crash Mat from a height, then use Powered Descender to slowly descend and land accurately on Crash Mat. This will avoid any damage.
Tip 4: Delay Completing Quests to Preserve Valuable Rewards
As we all know, if you choose to join an Expedition, besides receiving some Skill Points, you’ll lose most of your items due to Expedition Reset. This is why many people choose not to join in Expeditions.
However, IGGM wants to share a very important tip: if you want to preserve as many valuable quest rewards as possible while still participating in Expedition, you can try this. This tip has been proven effective in some players’ descriptions.
Generally, some quests offer very valuable rewards, but to participate in Expedition, players have to forfeit these rewards and have their characters reset.
If you don’t want to lose these rewards due to a character reset, you can choose to temporarily end these quests on Project page and then complete them after Expedition.
This allows you to complete these tasks after an Expedition and still retain the rewards, without worrying about losing them due to a reset.
This method is extremely useful for preserving rare and valuable ARC Raiders blueprints.
Tip 5: No Need to Compete with Other Players for Mushrooms
If you want to upgrade your Scrappy after a character reset but can’t find enough mushrooms, IGGM recommends heading to Dry Riverbed.
Search along this route and pay close attention to the scattered wood. If you’re lucky, you can collect up to ten mushrooms at a time, allowing you to avoid crowded areas and collect efficiently.
Tip 6: Use Hurricane Map Condition for Fast Travel
As is well known, Hurricanes spawn in raids on different maps, and players can know their exact spawn time. You can use this Map Condition, along with the previously mentioned Powered Descender, to fast travel across the map and easily traverse the entire map.
